becomes the power to shape the future.”
The
CBSE Regional Science Exhibition 2025, hosted at Blue Bells Model School,
Gurugram, unfolded as a grand celebration of scientific temper, innovation, and
youthful creativity. The opening ceremony commenced with heartfelt greetings
and a powerful introduction highlighting the vision of an Atmanirbhar and Viksit Bharat. The tone for the event was set with reflections on how
STEM—Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics—forms the foundation of
India’s progress and global leadership.
The
event was graced by Mr. Krishan Kumar
Gaur, Head DRIIV, Mr RP Singh, Joint Secretary, CBSE, Mr Satish
Pahal, Deputy Secretary, Department of Skill Education and Mr Sunil Bajaj,
Director SCERT. The event was further honoured by the presence of the eminent
judges Dr. Neeti Goel,
Assistant Professor of Physics, Shivaji College, University of Delhi; Dr. Anuushka Pal, researcher in
nanotechnology and photocatalysis; Prof.
Neetu Rani, Professor of Mathematics, Shivaji College,
University of Delhi; Dr. Ashok Sharma,
Additional Professor, Department of Biochemistry, NCI-AIIMS, Jhajjar; Dr. S.K. Mishra, Senior
Principal Scientist, CSIR–NPL; and Dr.
Naveen Kumar Malik, senior ECE faculty and former Officiating
Principal, Hindu College of Engineering, Sonipat. Their presence elevated the
academic and intellectual significance of the event.
The
ceremony progressed with the auspicious Diya Lighting, accompanied by Saraswati Vandana and Ganesh Vandana, invoking blessings of wisdom, purity, and prosperity. Principal Ms. Alka Singh welcomed and encouraged
students to embrace inquiry-based learning and shoulder responsibility as
future innovators. The Chief Guest’s inspiring words further motivated learners
to contribute meaningfully to nation-building through science and technology.
The
exhibition brought together 98 schools and 167 exhibits,
showcasing projects across vital contemporary themes—sustainable agriculture,
waste management, water conservation, health and hygiene, mathematical
modelling, green energy, and emerging technologies. Participants demonstrated
exceptional originality, scientific thought, and problem-solving skills.
A
soulful motivational song and a dynamic dance performance added cultural
vibrance to the evening.
During
the Prize Distribution Ceremony, 13 top exhibits—6 from
Category I and 7 from Category II—were selected for the National Level CBSE
Science Exhibition after rigorous evaluation by the esteemed panel of judges
mentioned above.
The
programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Madhu
Gupta, expressing deep gratitude to all contributors. The event left the
audience inspired by the brilliance of young minds—each one carrying the
promise of a brighter, stronger, and truly Viksit Bharat.
