Celebrating
the Joy of Reading – July 2025
To foster a love for literature and language, Blue Bells
Model School celebrated Reading Month with a vibrant array of literary
activities throughout August 2025. The month was dedicated to cultivating
curiosity, imagination, and a deep appreciation for books among students.
The celebrations commenced with a Reading Pledge,
where students collectively vowed to make reading a daily habit and a lifelong
companion. This was followed by engaging Book Review Sessions, where
students enthusiastically shared insights and takeaways from their favourite
books, encouraging peer reading.
A special highlight was the Author Celebration
dedicated to the magical world of Harry Potter. Students explored the
universe created by J.K. Rowling through quizzes, character enactments, and
discussions on themes, characters, and values embedded in the series.
Further nurturing creativity, students participated in the Create-a-Story
activity, weaving original tales using prompts, pictures, and their
imagination. The month concluded on a lyrical note with a Poetry Recitation
and Writing Session, where budding poets shared self-composed verses and
explored classic poems with new perspectives.
The Reading Month celebrations not only enriched literary
skills but also instilled in students a lifelong love for reading, writing, and
meaningful expression.

Empowering Young Minds: Study Skills Module 2026
At Blue Bells Model School, an enlightening Study Skills Session was conducted on April 28, 2026 for the students of Grade IX under the aegis of ADEPT – A Programme for Enhancing Life Skills, powered by wellnesswise.in.
Goal Setting for grade 10 and 12- BBMS
To guide students at a crucial academic stage, the Health & Wellness Programme, under the guidance of Dr. Alka Saxena, conducted a Goal Setting Session for Grades X and XII at Blue Bells Model School on April 6 & 7, 2026.
HAR GHAR TIRANGA 2025
A vibrant Har Ghar Tiranga rally was held to commemorate the 75th anniversary of India's independence. Ms. Alka Singh, Principal of Blue Bells Model School, flagged off the rally, which saw enthusiastic participation from students of the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and the Scouts and Guides.
Skill Enhancement Session - grade 9 and 11
Under the aegis of the Health & Wellness Programme, a session on “Growth Mindset” was conducted on April 20,2026 in Blue Bells Model School by Ms Chetna, Senior Associate Psychologist at My Peegu on the topic “The Mindset that Leads to Success.”
