GRANDPARENTS’
DAY CELEBRATION

The
Grandparents' Day celebration at Blue Bells Model School was a grand affair,
showcasing the importance of intergenerational bonding and family values. On
September 20, 2025, the school's Primary wing came alive with vibrant
festivities, beginning with the traditional lighting of lamps and shalok. This
sacred ceremony set the tone for a day filled with love, respect, and
appreciation for grandparents.
The
students melodious bhajans created a spiritual atmosphere, captivating the
audience and highlighting their talent. Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director of
Blue Bells Group, delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the significance
of preserving traditions and imparting family values to children. Her words
resonated with the audience, leaving a lasting impact.
The
thought-provoking session by Brahma Kumari Sister Sonika on Power of Blessings,
values, positive thinking, and inner peace were the highlight of the event. Her
words of wisdom inspired the grandparent’s. The students’ creative talents
shone through in their cyber awareness street play, which effectively conveyed
the importance of safe internet usage. The colourful dance performance that
followed was a visual treat, showcasing the students' energy and enthusiasm.
Shower
of blessings was the heartwarming ceremony, where children showered flowers on
their grandparents, praying for their eternal companionship. The Grandparents'
Day celebration was a resounding success, inspiring students and symbolizing
the school's commitment to family unity, values, and traditions. It was a day
that will be etched in the memories of students, teachers, and grandparents
alike, serving as a reminder of the importance of intergenerational connections
and the values that bind families together.
