Blue Bells Model School
hosted the sixth edition of La Fête de la Langue – A Festival of
Languages under the aegis of GPSC for the academic session 2025–26,
guided by the theme Ink and Imagination on 11th December 2025.The
festival celebrated the depth, diversity, and cultural significance of
languages, reinforcing their role as powerful agents of expression, heritage,
and innovation.
The ceremony opened with
the traditional lighting of the diya in honour of Late Shri B.D. Gulati Ji,
Founder Chairman of BBGS, followed by a motivational song. The Principal, Ms
Alka Singh addressed the gathering and insisted on communication which is an
integral part of languages. The event
was inaugurated by Dr Saroj Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of
Schools. Ms. Soumya Gulati, Associate Director, Academic Development and
Innovation, Blue Bells Group of Schools, who emphasized the evolving relevance
of language in shaping communication, empathy, and global understanding.
The Chief Guest, Dr.
Saroj Suman Gulati, Director of Blue Bells Group of Schools, addressed the
gathering with reflective insights on language as a medium that nurtures
identity, creativity, and harmony. The presence of distinguished jury members
from varied disciplines added depth to the event, as they shared their
expertise and provided valuable guidance to participants.
The festival drew nearly 400
participants from 26 schools from all over NCR, competing in thirteen well-curated
events encompassing five different languages. The talented writers of the
school were also honoured for in-house creative writing talent competition
under “Words that Matter.” The
Valedictory Ceremony featured a feedback session from jury , a vibrant snapshot
of the event , a prolific dance performance , a blend of languages, symbolizing hope, responsibility and shared
progress.
The Overall Winner’s
Trophy was awarded to Delhi Public School, Sector 45 Gurugram and Runner up was
bagged by DAV Public School , Sector -14, Gurugram. The festival concluded with a renewed sense of
admiration for the beauty, richness, and transformative strength of languages,
inspiring young learners to explore them with curiosity and confidence.
