Metamorphosis – Health and Wellness Fiesta, An
Inter - School Mega Life Skills Event ( To commemorate World No Tobacco Day)
To mark World No Tobacco Day
(May 31) and raise awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco, Blue
Bells Model School organized ‘Metamorphosis
– Health and
Wellness Fiesta’ on May 23, 2025
under ADEPT – A Program for Enhancing Life Skills, powered by wellnesswise.in.
As part of the event students
reached out to the community at Ram Park, Sector-4, on May 21, where
they sensitized residents about the consequences of tobacco use and conducted a
Signature Campaign encouraging people to pledge against tobacco.
To target a larger audience and raise awareness about
the risks of tobacco and lead a healthy lifestyle a series of social media
campaigns were also launched.
The highlight of the event was an Inter-School Debate Competition for Classes IX–XII on the topic: “Considering both direct and indirect costs, is the Tobacco Industry a Net Economic Benefit or a Burden to Society?” 33 schools participated, showcasing critical thinking and persuasive argumentation. The debate served as a powerful platform for young minds to engage critically with a topic of global relevance, especially on a day dedicated to raising awareness about the dangers of tobacco.
Blue Bells Model School, Sector 4
& Brahm Dutt Blue Bells Public School, Sector 10, bagged the
Best Team Trophy.
The event was graced by Dr. Alka Saxena, Deputy Director (Health & Wellness), BBGS, who
played a pivotal role in conceptualizing the program.
Interactive stalls by renowned
organizations like the Indian Cancer Society,

BBGS and Sukoon Health offered hands-on activities and
valuable resources to students and visitors.
The program concluded with Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools,
congratulating all participants for their enthusiasm and commitment to building
a healthier, tobacco-free society.
