Special Assembly , Diwali Celebration
“As the lamps of Diwali glow with happiness and hope, may we also light
the lamp of goodness within our hearts.”
The students of Classes VI C and VI D conducted a Special Assembly on
Diwali on October 17, 2025, with immense enthusiasm and festive fervour. The
celebration aimed to spread the eternal message of the festival — the triumph
of light over darkness and the spirit of joy, peace, and harmony.
The assembly commenced with a prayer and the thought of the day, invoking
divine blessings of wisdom, positivity, and enlightenment. This was followed by
the news segment, updating the audience with recent happenings, and a
vocabulary presentation that introduced expressive words reflecting the
brightness and essence of Diwali.
A melodious song performance filled the ambience with devotion and
festive cheer, followed by a vibrant dance performance that showcased the
colours, rhythm, and cultural richness of the festival. A short skit
effectively conveyed the timeless message of the victory of good over evil,
inspiring all to uphold righteousness in their lives.
Towards the end, students took a Pledge for a Green Diwali, urging
everyone to celebrate responsibly by avoiding crackers and embracing
eco-friendly festivities. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem,
evoking a deep sense of pride and unity.
Overall, the Diwali celebration was a beautiful blend of tradition,
learning, and values, inspiring students to kindle the light of goodness,
compassion, and positivity within themselves and the world around them.
