Spirited Play and Stellar Performance at the U-19 Interschool
Volleyball Tournament

Blue Bells Model School, Gurugram, proudly hosted the U-19
Boys’ and Girls’ Interschool Volleyball Tournament, which witnessed the
enthusiastic participation of 350 players representing 27 teams from 17
schools. The tournament was declared open by the Chief Guest, Colonel S. K.
Kaushik, Commanding Officer, 5 Haryana Battalion NCC, Gurugram, who motivated
the young players to uphold the true spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork.
The event was graced by Lieutenant Colonel Raghav, Subedar
Major Jai Prakash, and Ms. Ankita, Menon as the Guests of Honour, along with
Dr. Saroj Suman Gulati, Director, Blue Bells Group of Schools, whose inspiring
presence added to the pride of the occasion.
The opening ceremony began with the flag hoisting of GPSC,
followed by a march past by NCC platoons and contingents from 17 GPSC schools,
setting the tone for a vibrant and disciplined event. A melodious group song
further elevated the spirit of celebration.
The U-19 Girls’ team of Blue Bells exhibited outstanding
performance, defeating CCA Team in the semifinals with scores of 25–20 and
25–17. In a nail-biting final against BDBBPS, they fought valiantly to secure
the Runners-up Trophy, while BDBBPS lifted the Champion Trophy.
The U-19 Boys’ team also performed exceptionally, defeating
Gyan Devi, Sector 17, by 2–0 to reach the finals. In a thrilling contest
against Bal Bharti, Manesar, the team showcased remarkable skill and
determination, ultimately securing the Runners-up Trophy while Bal Bharti ,
Manesar turned out to be the winners.
The tournament concluded amidst cheers and applause,
celebrating the spirit of camaraderie, discipline, and excellence that define
the ethos of Blue Bells.
